Run a campaign

Build a multi-step sequence, get it approved, and let it send on its own.

A campaign is a sequence of emails sent to everyone who matches an audience rule. One-click Send is you sending one message. A campaign is built once and then delivers itself, step by step, on a schedule you set.

The four sections

  1. Overview: status, who it targets, whether it is cleared to send, and the sending schedule.
  2. Sequence: the emails and the waits between them.
  3. Audience: the rule that decides who is in.
  4. Activity: every send, reply, and anything that needs a person to look at it.

From draft to sending

  1. In Sequence, write the first email, then add a wait and a follow-up. A wait counts either calendar days or business days.
  2. A follow-up can reply inside the same thread as the message before it, so it lands under the original instead of arriving as a new email.
  3. In Audience, set the rule and save it. The campaign resolves who it currently matches so you can see the number before you commit.
  4. Mark the campaign ready, then approve the content you reviewed. Approval is what the send path checks, so nothing goes out without it.
  5. Activate. From then on, due steps are picked up by the daily send run.

The sending schedule

On Overview you can set a sending window in hours, which weekdays are allowed, and a minimum gap between sends. A step that falls outside the window waits for the next one rather than being dropped.

Note · Pausing a campaign stops further sends at any time, but an email that has already left cannot be recalled. A campaign can be returned to draft only while nothing has been delivered.
